Before the birth of the brand THAT SERUM, we first launched Urban Face Therapy in April 2016. As we approach our 10th anniversary, it’s essential to reflect on the journey that led to the creation of THAT SERUM. Throughout nearly a decade of dedicated service, Urban Face Therapy has provided over 20,000 facial treatment sessions. These numbers are not just statistics; they showcase our deep commitment to addressing various skin issues, particularly acne, which is a common concern for many of our clients. If you take a moment to explore our social media platforms, you'll see a consistent theme: a majority of our clientele begins their journey with us while grappling with severe acne. We empathize with the challenges they face in seeking effective, lasting solutions to their skin problems. Recognizing the struggles individuals encounter when trying to establish a viable skincare routine, we began venturing into product sales in 2019, starting with a line of face masks. Unfortunately, we later realized that this was not the most suitable product line to launch our skincare brand. The combination of selecting the wrong product types and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic significantly hindered our initial endeavors. Despite these setbacks, we maintained our focus on our Hyaluronic serum, which remained the sole serum available to our clients during that time. By 2022, we recognized the remarkable impact that the serums used in our facial therapies had on our clients' skin. This realization motivated us to return to the drawing board and develop a brand dedicated exclusively to serums that address our clients' primary concerns: hyperpigmentation, acne, skin hydration, skin repair, and anti-aging. The decision to focus on serums was strategic; we believe that serums allow us to effectively cater to the diverse needs of our clientele. That said, we certainly have not abandoned our initial aspirations of expanding into other skincare products. Masks and additional formulations are still on our radar, and we are committed to growing our product line based on the feedback and demands from our clients.
